What's Your Group Chat Role?

"Did you mean to send the ceiling?" One accidental ceiling photo has already become group lore, with 40 unread messages behind it.

12 core scenes. A few more messages may settle who is actually carrying this group chat. Up to 4 extra scenes may appear.

Meet the 6 group-chat roles

We'll compare your choices with all 6 group-chat roles and show the closest match plus the runner-up. If first place is tied exactly, we'll show every tied result.

  • The Plan Maker

Nine ideas enter the chat; one time and place eventually leave.

  • The Hype Friend

Good news receives capital letters, the correct number of reaction images, and immediate committee approval.

  • The Lore Keeper

The blurry ceiling photo from eight months ago is still relevant, and you can prove it.

  • The Peacekeeper

The typing indicators have become ominous.

  • The Chaos Courier

A typo appears and immediately acquires a backstory, a title card, and three sequels.

  • The Quiet Reader

Forty unread messages do not require forty replies.

This is a closest match within this quiz's 6 group-chat roles, not a right or wrong answer. Read the scoring standards.

Your place in the group-chat chaos

  • Do you make the plan, quietly keep it moving, or hype everyone up when the chat loses energy?
  • When confusion hits, do you explain it, pull out ancient group lore, or defuse it with a joke?
  • Are you in every thread, selective, or the person who appears once with the perfect reaction image?
How the result is calculated Open the full method

Six group-chat habits appear twice across 12 original scenes about plans, jokes, tension, shared history, and who joins in.

  1. Choose the point between the two responses that fits best. The center counts as an equal choice, while Not sure is left out of the score.
  2. At least 9 of 12 answers must count, with at least one answer in every area. With 11 counted answers, the result has more to go on; answering all 12 uses every question.
  3. If an area still needs an answer, or several results are still close after the core questions, the quiz may ask up to four follow-up questions. It chooses unused scenes that fill the gap or help separate the closest results. After each answer, every possible result is compared again; none is removed from the running.
  4. We compare the final pattern with all 6 possible results and show the closest match plus the runner-up. If first place is tied exactly, we'll show every tied result.
