Which Anime Archetype Are You?
Episode one opens with a team assignment and a mission brief everyone understood differently.
24 core scenes. The cast list is still crowded. A few extra choices may decide who gets the final shot. Up to 4 extra scenes may appear.
Meet the 16 anime archetypes
We'll compare your choices with all 16 anime archetypes and show the closest match plus the runner-up. If first place is tied exactly, we'll show every tied result.
Back Up Before the Chorus
The opening theme should already be over, but you are getting back up again.
Trains After the Credits
While everyone else celebrates, you are already thinking about the next training session.
Stays After the Battle
After the battle, you are the one sitting beside the shaken teammate while the noise dies down.
Presses the Suspicious Button
The obvious route looked boring, so naturally the suspicious button is glowing now.
Solved the Twist Already
By the time the villain explains the plan, you have already spotted the flaw.
Holds the Narrow Pass
When the path narrows and the team hesitates, you are the one who plants your feet and says nobody gets left behind.
Saw the Missing Key
From the quiet seat by the window, you catch the missing key, forced smile, and clue hidden in plain sight.
Maps Past the Horizon
Where other people see the edge of the map, you see the beginning of a new world.
One More Training Lap
Your training montage lasts longer because talent was never the whole point.
Sighed, Then Saved Everyone
A quiet seat at the back was the entire plan.
Built Version Two
Loose screws, glowing prototypes, one invention that definitely was not supposed to fly.
Adopted the Whole Party
Give you a runaway prince, a grumpy fighter, and a creature nobody was planning to adopt, and you will have them sharing dinner by episode six.
The Lesson Makes Sense Later
Your lessons rarely make sense until the exact moment they save the day.
Rooftop Rules, Personal Code
Your plan, your rules, and very little interest in the official rooftop speech.
Turns Nerves Into Spotlight
When the stage lights come on, your excitement becomes the whole crowd's excitement.
Spare Umbrella, No Comment
The spare umbrella means nothing.
The choices behind your archetype Open the episode notes
- When the episode drops you into a tougher level, do you prepare, improvise, or start moving and adjust?
- In a team scene, do you rally everyone, listen closely, take charge, or quietly fix the practical problem?
- What counts as progress: mastering one method, trying something new, helping the group, or beating your own benchmark?
- Do you spot the big pattern, chase the exact clue, recharge before round two, or take one small step now?
How the result is calculated Open the full method
Twelve behavior signals appear twice across 24 original anime-inspired scenes.
- Choose the point between the two responses that fits best. The center counts as an equal choice, while Not sure is left out of the score.
- At least 18 of 24 answers must count, with at least one answer in every area. With 21 counted answers, the result has more to go on; answering all 24 uses every question.
- If an area still needs an answer, or several results are still close after the core questions, the quiz may ask up to four follow-up questions. It chooses unused scenes that fill the gap or help separate the closest results. After each answer, every possible result is compared again; none is removed from the running.
- We compare the final pattern with all 16 possible results and show the closest match plus the runner-up. If first place is tied exactly, we'll show every tied result.
